After serving his country in World War II, Everett Boldt began his work as a plumbing, sheet metal / heating installer & serviceman in the very same building that Boldt’s is located today. Everett’s starting wage was $18 per week. In 1960, Everett added business partner, ‘Perk’ Gregerson and the business was called Boldt & Gregerson Hardware until 1977, when the partnership split and the company name was changed to its current Boldt’s Plumbing & Heating.  Everett, and his wife Eleanor, raised four children and celebrated nearly 65 years of marriage.  Everett instilled a strong work ethic and sense of community to his family, as they remember most holidays and celebrations being interrupted by Everett going out on a service call to restore someone’s heat or fix a frozen pipe or plugged sewer.

In 1973, Everett’s daughter Jule offered to help her father with his bookwork, resulting in a lifelong commitment to the business, with Jule’s husband, Dale Hudson, joining the company in 1976 as Everett’s apprentice plumber.  Dale went on to receive his Master Plumber Certification in 1985, Certified Soil Tester License and continued on to HVAC design.   Today, Jule takes care of general management, human resources, advertising and bidding assistance.   Dale is semi-retired but continues to work as support and consult.   Together, Jule & Dale have logged over 85 years at Boldt’s!

Boldt’s has also been joined by a third generation as Jule & Dale’s daughter, Gina and her husband Joe join the family run business, taking on more of the business responsibilities.

Boldt’s acknowledges that we would not be a success without the dedicated service of our many long-time employees, for whom we give our utmost appreciation.

As current owner’s, Jule & Dale, along with Gina & Joe, take a very hands-on approach to managing the business, continuing the company’s tradition of service and availability to their customers.
